Pay Day, Someday

I will attempt to write my first-ever blog in a way that will capture your interest and challenge your thinking. I know I need to be direct and to the point with those who read this post due to the interest span of most readers today. I have many ideas and thoughts on a variety of subjects and will express myself clearly in regard to them. Fell free to comment as I look forward to your feedback.

On my mind today is the economic turmoil we face as a nation. Irresponsibility once again calls out to the responsible to bail them out of bad decisions and mistakes in leadership. As it turns out, we reward irresponsibility and penalize responsibility. Example being, the auto CEO’s flying into Washington on their private jets to cry about their money woes. Looking for a government handout at the expense of the taxpayers. We have big banks writing mortgage loans for people without proof of income along with people buying homes they could not afford. Over and over again we are witness to bad decisions and irresponsibility. I heard a preacher one time preach a sermon titled “Pay Day, Some Day.” I feel certain that we have come to that point as a nation. Maybe if our leaders would search the Scriptures, they would find a better way to govern. The Scriptures clearly state that we should all be people of integrity, especially those in positions of leadership. Proverbs 22:1
